Resilience in the spotlight: Tracey Yarad's 'All These Pretty Things'

The brief

Tracey Yarad is a pianist and singer-songwriter based in New York.

She was bringing her musical memoir 'All These Pretty Things' to the Edinburgh Fringe for the first time, and looking for media coverage including reviews to refine this show about resilience following a personal betrayal.

Our role

We pitched the run and Tracey to key reviewers, radio shows, and influencers, while creating a trailer and recruiting a flyering team. We also produced a vox pop audience video to maximize the show's visibility and audience engagement at the Fringe.

The results

Our efforts resulted in substantial media coverage and audience engagement. We secured show listings in The National and The Herald, along with an in-depth interview on K107 FM that included two tracks from the show.

Tracey was also interviewed by lifestyle vlogs such as Women Living Well After 50 and Magnificent Midlife.

Positive reviews highlighted the show’s impact, with commendations from Fringe Review and The List. We also opened discussions with a BBC producer for potential future projects.

Testimonial

Tracey Yarad

The Fringe is a daunting task for any artist to take on and especially as a one-woman show - I really needed the support that James offered.

He was incredibly thorough and meticulously well organised and focused. He understood my project and the target audience and publications to approach on my behalf. He came to my show at the start of the Fringe to help him understand the content more fully. James made me feel completely heard. He followed up on every lead and sent me regular reports. We gathered a lot of momentum, including reviews, interviews, radio and podcasts. His attention, understanding and care were paramount, a totally professional experience I wouldn’t hesitate to work with James again.
